A Jane Alvis is the principal and brings a 26-year media, government and public relations experience to Alvis Company. She began her career as a press office staff member for then-Gov. Lamar Alexander and moved on to report on state government, politics and business for The Tennessee Journal. For eight years, Alvis was a partner in The Ingram Group, a Nashville-based public and government relations firm.
